✦ Why "Nawafith"? — لماذا «نوافذ»؟
نوافذ means "windows" in Arabic. Each source is a window — a different perspective on the same country. Some are clear, some are tinted, some are cracked. Our job is to show you all of them and let you decide what you see.
كلمة «نوافذ» تعني أن كل مصدر هو نافذة — منظور مختلف على البلد نفسه. بعضها صافٍ، وبعضها ملوّن، وبعضها مكسور. مهمتنا أن نريكم/ن إيّاهم جميعاً وندعكم/ن تقررون/ن ما ترونه/تردنه.
1 What We Do — ماذا نفعل
- Aggregate — We pull from 200+ sources across factions, languages, and regions. Every perspective matters, from government bulletins to opposition Telegram channels.
- Classify — Every article is tagged by governorate, faction, and topic using AI. Damascus, Aleppo, Idlib — each story is placed on the map.
- Translate — Arabic ↔ English translation for every headline. No story is inaccessible because of language.
- Analyze — Bi-weekly intelligence reports with original data visualizations, trend analysis, and satellite imagery when available.
- Track Jobs — Syria-related job listings from ReliefWeb, Telegram, and local boards aggregated in one place.
- تجميع — نسحب من أكثر من ٢٠٠ مصدر عبر الفصائل واللغات والمناطق. كل منظور مهم، من البيانات الحكومية إلى قنوات المعارضة على تلغرام.
- تصنيف — كل مقال يُوسم حسب المحافظة والفصيل والموضوع باستخدام الذكاء الاصطناعي. دمشق، حلب، إدلب — كل قصة توضع على الخريطة.
- ترجمة — ترجمة عربية ↔ إنجليزية لكل عنوان. لا قصة تبقى بعيدة المنال بسبب اللغة.
- تحليل — تقارير استخبارية نصف شهرية مع تصورات بيانية أصلية وتحليل اتجاهات وصور أقمار صناعية.
- وظائف — إعلانات التوظيف المتعلقة بسوريا من ReliefWeb وتلغرام ولوحات محلية مجمّعة في مكان واحد.
2 Factions — الفصائل
We categorize sources by their editorial alignment — not to judge, but to give you context. Understanding who is speaking is as important as understanding what they say.
نصنّف المصادر حسب توجهها التحريري — ليس للحكم عليها، بل لإعطائك السياق. فهم من يتحدث لا يقل أهمية عن فهم ما يقوله.
3 Design Language — لغة التصميم
Every visual element in Nawafith draws from Syrian architectural and artistic traditions. We believe the interface should feel as Syrian as the content it carries.
كل عنصر بصري في نوافذ مستلهم من التقاليد المعمارية والفنية السورية. نؤمن بأن الواجهة يجب أن تشعر بالسورية كالمحتوى الذي تحمله.
