Rome, Sept. 21 (SANA) Juventus defeated Atalanta 2-0 on Sunday at Allianz Stadium in the fifth round of the Italian Serie A football competition.
Francisco Conceição opened the scoring for Juventus in the 28th minute before Gleison Bremer doubled the hosts’ lead in the 77th minute.
The victory lifted Juventus to sixth place in the Serie A standings with 10 points after five rounds.
Atalanta remained in 11th place with six points following the defeat.
