The People’s Assembly resumed its session Sunday to hear Energy Minister Muhammad al-Bashir discuss petroleum derivatives, rising prices and the state of Syria’s energy sector. Bashir outlined ministry plans to increase oil and gas production, rehabilitate infrastructure and address the costs of importing fuel and energy.
