Syria Adopts National Strategy on Crime Prevention

Syrian Interior Minister Anas Khattab led an official delegation Saturday, Sept. 26, to the 15th UN Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, hosted by the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi. The delegation included Attorney General Hassan al-Turba. In his speech at the conference, Khattab said Syria is entering a new phase in which it seeks to rebuild state institutions based on the rule of law, protect society, preserve human dignity and restore trust in public institutions.
